Seph refused to make the whimper of protest he wanted to make when he sat on the cot across from Wedge and Johnny. Biggs, who had already seen the nurse walked by and stopped by Sephiroth.

Standing, Sephiroth glared at Biggs who glared back. Biggs snorted. "You got off light."

"Wait till I get you alone." Seph snarled back.

Biggs cleared his throat and turned to go, he didn't seem to want to stay in the office, and Sephiroth was an addition to the antiseptically hostile environment.

"Now boys... there's no reason to fight, there's plenty of... medicine to go around," Lucrecia said as she walked up, the same sashay as always. Her eyes flicked over to Sephiroth and gave him an appraising smile.

Sephiroth swallowed, an uncomfortable lump formed in the back of his throat. Didn't his mom go to school with her? His head hurt way too much to think straight. Strangely he just wanted to go back to Reno's and back to bed. Bed would have been nice.

Biggs stormed out and Wedge and Johnny sneered at Sephiroth.

"Oh, looks like you took a beating," she said, pausing and then lowering her voice to almost a whisper, "But it seems the specimen is still intact. Good, good..."

"Shouldn't I ah… just walk it off? I'm fine. I could call my mom…" Mentioning Jenova usually got good results from adults. Sephiroth didn't exactly know what his mother did for a living, but it was something pretty important. Or he hoped it was.

She cocked an eyebrow. "I'm sure your mother would want you right here... safe and sound." Her tone wasn't exactly soothing.

"I'm fine…really." She looked so pretty, but wasn't Vincent complaining about how he didn't know she was married to the lunch lady or something? Through one eye and with a swimming head, he really wasn't in any shape to drive himself home, but he could always sleep in class. Away from her. Where it was safe.

She mumbled some more to herself and smiled. "I know just what will make you feel all better. Right as rain. So just hold on a minute and I'll go fetch it..." She proceeded to make her way over to a cabinet, in the small room partition that was her office proper; desk and all.

"Scared of needles?" Wedge asked with a laugh, though he still cradled his arm.

Seph snarled, his good eye narrowed and Wedge hushed.

Johnny seemed pre-occupied with the nurse's backside, as she didn't bother to hide it as she bent over.

She got up, with the addition of three pill cups in one hand, and a rather large and scary needle in the other. She went to the other three boys and gave them the pills, and a pat on the head for Johnny, who had a goofy smile on his face. She stopped with the needle once she reached Sephiroth. "Considering you got banged up the most, I'm going to have to administer an injection. Don't worry, it'll only hurt a little."

Sephiroth's eye widened and he sat up, moving backwards. "What…ah, what is in that?" He had seen Reno's little tape of Vincent. It wasn't something Sephiroth wanted to experience first hand.

"Oh this? Now, you don't believe those rumors about Valentine, do you?" She smiled again, not comforting. "He's a strange one... schizophrenia and all that. I wouldn't put too much stock in him. Now roll your sleeve up like a good boy.'

Seph's eyes darted to the door in a half prayer that someone, ANYONE at this point, would come in and save him. "Ahh… I have some drug allergies…" He fished for an excuse, but thinking this quickly made his head hurt and the closer that woman got the more he felt like he was trapped in a cell with the walls closing in.

"And we have those on file. Your mother was kind enough to to make sure they were sent over at the beginning of the school year." She tapped a long nailed finger on her hip.

Convinced that his day couldn't get any worse, Sephiroth rolled up his sleeve. He was displeased to see that there was a large purplish bruise forming along his arm, he really did get banged up pretty bad.

She leaned over him to give him the shot, hiding no amount of cleavage, and once she swabbed him, leaned in close to his ear. When the needle went in, it stung bad, but he was more concerned with what was being whispered in his ear.

"You should not upset Hojo by quitting the team like that. We will have to find... alternate exercise for you."

Seph was going to shove her away or say something, but his vision got much blurrier and then he felt like he was falling and everything faded to black.
