Crazy

Well... he is. But at least Sephiroth is working with it.

Crazy….yeah.

Yeah, I'm crazy. God ….

Fire is so pretty, the matches, boxes of them, the smell, I love the way the fire feels when it licks my fingers…

Dear Fucking Shiva, I'm insane. I've paced this room so many time, so many times…

I wish I would have killed them. Killed them both. Kadaj's head would have rolled so well, so perfectly along the grass. SNAP out of it, Christ, there are kids in this house.

I need water. Yes, water, get rid of this fire obsession.

--

The hallway stretched out before Sephiroth, pictures hung on the walls and he tried not to look at them. His nails bit into the palm of his hand when suddenly a little voice made itself heard. "Sephy?"

He whirled, a snarl already set on his lips, but upon looking down, he saw Sasha, clinging to a worn teddy bear with more patches than fur. "What are you doing up?" He nearly shuddered at the clipped tone.

Weak and very frightened, the little girl clung to her teddy bear. "I hadda bad dweam."

Sephiroth looked back over her head and out the window.

She didn't seem to mind that he didn't speak to her. "There was a monster at the window, Sephy…"

Smooth strides carried him to the window where he looked down. Quick eyes scanned everything; there was no tree, no vine, no way to get into the house. Sephiroth ran a hand along the frame, pushing the lock closed.

"It wasn't real…whazit?" Her voice was close behind him… too close; he could feel her little hand grip his pants.

He swallowed, Kadaj was right, children were weak… Reno was weak…but did weak people stare down demigods? He could feel Sasha lean in closer, he put a hand on her head. His hand was large in comparison, gods she was so small. "Monsters aren't real, Sasha and if they were, your brother wouldn't let them hurt you."

"You're bigger than he is…" She muttered, he could feel her cheek move under his long finger. So delicate.

"He's much braver than I am, Sasha, now go to bed."

She nodded, giggling as his big hand brushed her hair.

---

Sasha… she's little, so small, so easily breakable. Is it evil that is my first thought of her? How easy it would be to kill her?

I wouldn't. I couldn't do that, she's the first person who wasn't afraid of me.

Gods, is it possible for so much spirit to be in such little things? How does that work?

I shouldn't be here, in his doorway watching him sleep. It's stalkerish, creepy, he'd cuss at me.

But I sort of like that, he doesn't mean it, I don't know how I can tell exactly, but he doesn't really mean it.

He knows I'm crazy, he has to know I'm totally insane, dangerous, that I could have killed him. And yet, he's not afraid of me. I don't think he ever was. Is that stupid?

Stupid or not, he saved two lives today. Probably more than that.

It's cold, I should go to bed.

Sephiroth makes me want to hug him. And he's so brutal about himself. I love it.

Methinks I missed another roleplay. Bah!

Anyway, yeah. He's this strange combination of crazey and like ... I don't know what it is, but you still feel sorry for him.

(Also, damns! I need to get caught back up)

ZOMG! HE IS CRAZY WITH A SIDE OF CRAZY!

Of course, none of my characters are much better.

I think I want to hug him. And that's WEIRD for me.
